The Streets of Brazil

We knew there were Germans in Brazil, but lots of Japanese and Africans as well (not to mention Syrians — half my family went there instead of US when they came over). Africans infuse Brazil’s street food with passion and color from dende oil, red palm oil that shimmers the color of candy apples. Mix it up with red and yellow peppers studded with shrimp and you get a gorgeous, edible confetti. Take me to Brazil!
