You just reminded me how much I miss poke, a favorite party pu-pu when I lived in Hawaii. It also reminded me of the time I brought Cincinnati Chili Dip to a party there. My family used to send me cans of Skyline Chili to remind me of home, and once I made a chili dip appetizer that Ohioans eat with Fritos. In Honolulu, my island friends scooped it over rice and ate it with chopsticks. Only in Hawaii!
